At our Thornton Community Council Meeting on Monday 5th August 2024 we had a large turnout of people who are very concerned, angry and upset about anti-social behaviour in the village. Incidents described included drug taking, drug dealing, threatening behaviour, visible carrying of weapons, housebreaking, vandalism and theft. Our Ward Councillors have pledged to follow up these concerns with Fife Council and Police Scotland. Thornton Community Council have contacted the Community Police and Fife Council raising these serious concerns and requesting that their representatives attend the next Community Council meeting to engage directly with our community. We will share any updates received. To report any incidents of anti-social behaviour to Fife Council please follow this link Report antisocial behaviour | Fife Council Call the police on 101 if the antisocial behaviour is happening right now. In an emergency call 999 immediately and ask for the police.
