The community council, in collaboration with the Tullis Russell Mills Band held another successful Christmas light switch-on event this year.
As the weather was threatening to be slightly dubious, we centred on the town hall where Frankie Coull switched our Christmas tree lights on.
Around 50 parents and children joined us in the town hall to listen to some Christmas carols played by the band and enjoy some hot chocolate and cakes.
